I can attend for one day – can I still attend the Event?

Yes, you can still attend if you can only make it on one day. When registering you will be asked to indicate which day(s) you will be attending.

Is there catering provided?

Yes. There will be refreshments provided on arrival, at break times and lunch.

Who should I contact if I have any dietary or access requirements?

You can indicate any special dietary requirements when you register online. If you have any special needs, disabilities, and/or dietary restrictions that you cannot indicate at registration, please inform the Event Team nhsscotlandevent@eventage.co.uk 

Is there a hashtag for the NHSScotland Event?

You can tweet comments as part of the NHSScotland Event 2019 to @NHSScotEvent using the hashtag #nhsscot18.

Will there be Wi-Fi available at the Event?

WiFi is available to delegates and exhibitors free of charge at the SEC. The WiFi available will support basic web browsing, checking of emails and social media usage. It is recommended that exhibitors who require internet access to showcase and utilise web based products and services purchase dedicated internet access from the SEC. Please contact technical.services@sec.co.uk to make arrangements.

I need to stay overnight, are there special rates available at hotels nearby?

Accommodation is available nearby at reduced NHSScotland/Scottish Government rates - hotels are TBC for 2019

I would like to provide feedback on my experience of the Event. How do I do that?

All attendees who have agreed to being contacted for this purpose will receive an evaluation form via email after the Event which will facilitate providing any feedback and/or suggestions for future Events.

Will attendance at the NHSScotland Event count towards my Continuing Professional Development (CPD)?

While CPD certificates are not produced for the NHSScotland Event, the Event provides many opportunities for Continuing Professional Development. A certificate of attendance can be issued on request via email to nhsscotlandevent@gov.scot.
