Paul Gowens

Paul Gowens QAM is the Associate Director for Research Development and Innovation with the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) and is accountable for strategic leadership across the services research development and innovation portfolio. He is a visiting professor at Robert Gordon University and a Health Foundation Fellow.  Paul’s previous roles include SAS Lead Consultant Paramedic, the most senior paramedic in the service and professional advisor at Scottish Government for EMS provision in Zambia. Paul is passionate on how we can innovate to help colleagues deliver the highest standard of care in new ways.
