Karen Duffy

Karen Duffy, as Delivery Director has led the Covid Vaccination Delivery Programme, across NHS Scotland since December 2020. Karen has been in NHS Scotland for 36 years in a range of roles: working clinically in nursing, midwifery, health visiting and nurse management prior to moving into leadership and strategic roles. Karen and the national vaccination operation team has led, co-ordinated and overseen the delivery of over 12 million vaccinations. The impact of Covid vaccination on our journey out of the pandemic and on saving lives has been immense, and Karen recognises this as the most challenging role in her career.
