Health and Social Care Research Coordinator, NHS Research Scotland (Central Management Team)
Irina’s work is focused around social care research governance. Recently she has been working on developing the dedicated research governance framework, aimed at supporting social care research within the NHS environment in Scotland. Irina’s role with ENRICH Scotland (Enabling Research in Care Homes) is dedicated to the social care element of the network’s activity. The integration of health and social care in Scotland is one of Irina’s main research interests. Irina holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Psychology and Master of Science in Social Work. Her interest in social care research stems from having over 12 years of frontline experience supporting children and families, both in Scotland and abroad.
