Jen Pennycook

Jen graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 1998. Her career has spanned Surgical, Community and Oncology Nursing in both Scotland and Australia. Her passion for nurse education led her to a number of education roles within NHSGGC. On completion of Scottish Quality and Safety Fellowship, Jen was the National Clinical Nursing Lead for the SPSP Acute Adult Portfolio.
Jen joined NHS Ayrshire and Arran as a Chief Nurse in 2021. She leads the development and implementation of the NMAHP Strategy. Her current portfolio includes; Excellence in Care, Professional Development, Care Home Professional Support Team and Library and Knowledge Services Strategy.
