Dr Naomi Richards is Director of the End of Life Studies Group at the University of Glasgow. She is Senior Lecturer in Social Science and is a social anthropologist by training. She has just completed a UKRI-funded study called Dying in the Margins (2019-2023) which used qualitative visual methods to reveal the factors affecting people's capacity to remain at home when facing financial hardship and deprivation at the end of their lives.
