Iona Duckett

Iona has worked as a midwife within NHS Tayside in various roles across the service. Recently she has been the senior midwife for the midwifery led services across Tayside and remains passionate about supporting women, supporting birth and supporting midwifery. Since 2022, Iona has worked within her professional advisor role with the Chief Midwife but has also continued to work in Tayside supporting the implementation of the recommendations of Best Start. Iona believes that the roles complement each other and that it is a real privilege for her to work with enthusiastic and inspirational leaders across Scotland.
