Craig Hatton

Craig Hatton is Chief Executive of North Ayrshire Council and the Solace Scotland Lead for Climate Change. A qualified building surveyor, he brings over 30 years of local government experience, leading services that put communities at the heart of delivery. Craig has championed environmental sustainability, from pioneering waste reduction initiatives to co-developing national schemes like the Scottish Household Recycling Charter. He led the creation of the Council’s Climate Change Strategy, helping cut emissions by 45%.
