Russell Coulthard is Chief Operating Officer for Acute Services and Deputy Chief Executive at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. In this role, he provides senior operational leadership across NHSGGC, working with clinical and managerial teams to improve performance, patient flow and the overall quality of care delivered to patients across the health board.
Russell is an experienced NHS leader with a long track record in operational management and service transformation. Prior to joining NHSGGC, he held senior executive roles within NHS Lanarkshire, including Director of Acute Services, where he led major programmes focused on service delivery, performance improvement and the management of acute healthcare services.
