Deputy Chief Nurse for Workforce Optimisation, NHS Forth Valley
Douglas High is a senior nurse leader within NHS Forth Valley with expertise in quality management, workforce governance and patient safety. As Deputy Chief Nurse for Workforce Optimisation, and previously Practice Development, Education and Care Homes, he has led system wide initiatives to improve safety outcomes, including the Safer Together collaborative. A Scottish Improvement Leader (ScIL) graduate, he applies improvement science, data-driven methodologies and multidisciplinary collaboration to reduce harm, strengthen governance and enhance patient and staff experience across health and social care settings.
