Michelle Conway

Michelle Conway is Head of External Affairs Scotland at the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI). Starting her career as a registered general nurse, she has spent over 30 years working across clinical practice, the biopharmaceutical industry and strategic consultancy. Her expertise spans health policy, NHS partnerships and devolved health systems, and she is recognised for bringing key stakeholders together from across industry, government and the NHS to collaborate and improve patient outcomes. In 2019 she founded CRD Consulting Ltd, where she led several multi-stakeholder policy initiatives informing the care and treatment of people living with rare and undiagnosed conditions across the UK. She has also held several senior roles within the rare disease charity sector, including her time as the Interim CEO of the Rare Disease Nurse Network. Michelle is passionate about mentoring and supporting future leaders across health and life sciences.
