Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak

Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak was appointed Chief Scientist (Health) for Scotland in July 2022. She leads Scotland's health research and innovation agenda, working in partnership with the NHS, academia and industry to accelerate the adoption of research and innovation for the benefit of patients. Dame Anna is also Regius Professor of Medicine at the University of Glasgow and Honorary Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. An internationally recognised clinician and researcher, she has made a significant contribution to advancing cardiovascular medicine, precision medicine and Scotland's global reputation for health research and innovation.
