Amanda Langsley

Associate Director, Organisational Development and Learning in NHS Lothian

Amanda Langsley is the Associate Director for Organisational Development and Learning in NHS Lothian. She is a registered mental health nurse and has work in the NHS for 24 years. Amanda dedicated several years to training and policy in the management of violence and aggression in healthcare. Her passion for caring for patients has transferred to creating the conditions for healthy, happy, productive people in the workplace. During the pandemic Amanda was appointed Staff Wellbeing Champion for NHS Lothian and has supported multiple interventions and programmes that aim to support and recover our staff, whilst also addressing the organisational and cultural issues that impact on staff wellbeing. Amanda is an organisational coach, accredited Critical Incident Stress Management Peer Supporter and has an interest in the impacts and management of incivility in the workplace. She is also Mum to 3 girls that keep her busy when not at work.
