Anthony McDavitt

Anthony McDavitt is Director of Pharmacy and Depute Director of Community Health and Social Care in Shetland, with a background as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist in General Practice. He leads work through the Shetland Community Health and Social Care Partnership on the Primary Care Phased Investment Programme, embedding consistent long-term condition reviews and structured medication reviews to reduce reactive, lower-value work.

Anthony is particularly interested in the interface between policy and delivery, and brings experience of working with other NHS boards, Scottish Government, and Healthcare Improvement Scotland to support the development of future policy rooted in practical implementation insight.
