Colette Dryden

Improvement Advisor, Healthcare Improvement Scotland

Colette Dryden joined the NHS in 2007, and has worked in various quality focused roles in that time. Colette’s most recent role was as an Improvement Manager, in NHS Lanarkshire, influencing and supporting the use of improvement methodology to deliver the boards Primary Care Improvement Plan.  

Prior to this, Colette worked as Lead Clinical Improvement Coordinator, in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. She played a key role in the implementation and spread of various Scottish Patient Safety Programme’s acute adult workstreams, as well as developing and growing the boards network of improvers. Colette joined Healthcare Improvement Scotland's ihub in 2019 to focus on using quality improvement to sustainably reduce waiting times across Scotland.
