Councillor David Cameron

The Lord Provost has a background in food hygiene and worked for the Food Standards Agency,and served 13 years with the Aberdeen City Police Special Constabulary.

He has also worked as an academic at Robert Gordon Institute of Technology (now RGU) and continues to undertake local consultancy work within the food safety industry.

The Lord Provost has been an Aberdeen City Councillor since 2012 and, was elected to the office of Lord Provost by his peers.  He is a family man, who divides his time between family, constituency work and business interests.
