Dr Dame Denise Coia is the chair of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Task Force. She is a clinical psychiatrist and an internationally-recognised leader in the field of mental health. Formerly Chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in Scotland and Vice-President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Denise became inaugural Chair of Healthcare Improvement Scotland in 2010 and is now the convener of Children in Scotland.
