Daren Nelson

Daren is an Organisational Development Lead with the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) with a keen interest in people and culture. He is a supporter and local facilitator of the 'Civility Saves Lives' movement and passionately believes in promoting the conditions that make healthcare a great place to work for everyone. He particularly values equality, teamship and psychological safety as key drivers of high-performance.  

Daren recently provided support to SAS' programme to reduce misogyny and increase sexual safety within the workplace, working collaboratively with blue light tri-service colleagues.  

Daren also served as a Commissioned Officer within the Royal Air Force.
