Derick MacRae is the Cancer Service Manager at NHS Highland. He has a BA in Marketing from Stirling, and an MBA from Heriot Watt. His career in the NHS spans two centuries having joined Highland in 1993 after completing the National Management Training  Scheme. 

From Lewis originally and living in Inverness his responsibilities includes Urology, Breast, Oncology and Haematology as well as a responsible for Cancer performance. He has been trying to make these services better, and sustainably the best for a number of years in order to ensure that patients in Highland receive the best possible care from staff who enjoy working here.
