Dougie is a qualified social worker and has been a Chief Social Work Officer in both Fife and Argyll and Bute. He has previously been involved in the development and implementation of a number of national initiatives such as MAPPA and GIRFEC.  He has been leading the GIRFE Pathfinder work in Fife  on behalf of the Health and Social Care Partnership.
