Dr Alexia Pellowe

Alexia is Clinical Director of East Ayrshire HSCP, having previously been a GP partner in both Glasgow and Ayrshire, and represented Ayrshire and Arran LMC at SGPC. She understands the current capacity-demand mismatch in general practice and supports local practices with innovative changes through the Cluster model. She has a keen interest in service redesign and improvement, having worked as a GP patient safety and improvement adviser at NES for 10 years. Person-centred digital health transformation is another passion and after leading the Ayrshire TEC pathfinders programme she became Clinical Director of NHS Ayrshire and Arran digital services last year.
