Dr Brian Gillatt is a consultant forensic psychiatrist working in medium secure care at the Rowanbank clinic in Glasgow. He has previously held consultant posts in NHS Ayrshire and Arran and low secure forensic services in Glasgow. In addition to clinical duties Dr Gillatt has an active role in clinical governance and medical education.

His research interest is in the use of risk assessments in clinical settings and has been involved in developing the audit and evaluation of the new CRAFT risk assessment tool.
