Dr Claire Cameron

Consultant in Health Protection, Public Health Scotland

Dr Claire Cameron is a Consultant in Health Protection at Public Health Scotland (PHS), with over 20 years’ experience at a national level, focusing on immunisation. During this time, she has had lead responsibility for a range of vaccine preventable diseases, chaired national immunisation programme groups and represented Public Health Scotland at the UK Joint Committee for Vaccination and Immunisation. Recent years have focussed on Covid vaccination and ensuring continued high uptake of other immunisations. Claire is a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health and a graduate of St Andrews and Cambridge Universities, and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
