Jennifer is the medical director of NHS GGC, and is responsible for a range of areas including clinical governance, professional education and regulation, research and innovation, pharmacy services and strategic planning for GGC.

Jennifer has extensive experience which includes developing health policy in central government, commissioning specialist services for Scotland, reshaping learning disability community services and, as a general manager, developing the successful business case for acute services in Glasgow in 2002.

Jennifer qualified from Glasgow University and worked throughout Glasgow and Clyde. She is also a consultant in public health and is a fellow of the RCPS (Glasgow) and a fellow of Faculty of Public Health (London).
