Dr. Lara Mitchell

Dr Lara Mitchell, is a Consultant Older Peoples services, South Sector, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. When clinical lead she established with her team the front door frailty service. She set up a syncope service in 2003 and runs a weekly Rapid Access Syncope Clinic (RASCL). She is chair of the British Geriatrics Society Cardiovascular Special Interest Group, a BJC editorial board member and an Honorary Senior Lecturer. She completed the Scottish Quality and Safety Fellowship in cohort 12 and is passionate about design thinking in improving care and patient experience.
