Dr Lorraine Johnstone
Head of Child and Family Clinical Psychology, NHS Forth Valley, CAMHS
Lorraine is a consultant clinical and forensic psychologist in NHS Forth Valley CAMHS. She is also an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and Visiting Professor at the Centre for Youth and Criminal Justice at the University of Strathclyde. Lorraine has extensive experience working with children and families across a wide range of settings and on behalf of different agencies.
Lorraine has more than 30 published documents, including articles, in peer-reviewed journals and edited books on various clinical and forensic psychology topics and regularly provides teaching and training on a range of issues. She has also presented at local, national and international conferences. Her most recent conference presentation was a key note address at the International Association of Forensic Mental Health Conference on attachment and vulnerability in children at risk of offending.
