Dr Ron Cook

Dr Ron Cook has been a Consultant Emergency Physician since 2008. He currently works with NHS Tayside and has experience of working in Emergency Departments and in pre-hospital retrieval services in both Scotland and Australia. Recently, as Clinical Director for Shaping Emergency, Urgent and Integrated Care Dr Cook has led the implementation of Re-design of Urgent Care in Tayside and is one of the national experts on using Professional to Professional discussion as a tool to identify alternatives to hospital attendance. Dr Cook has recently been appointed as an Associate Medical Director for NHS 24, in addition to his roles with NHS Tayside.
