Dr. Scott Davidson

Dr Scott Davidson is the Deputy Medical Director (Acute Services) and a Consultant Respiratory Physician at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. He qualified from the University of Aberdeen before completing his training in Glasgow and taking up a consultant post in 2006. He specialises in the home ventilation of patients with neuromuscular diseases. He also completed an MD looking at chemotherapy resistance in lung cancer at the Beatson Institute.

Scott was the Clinical Director for medical services in the QEUH when it opened its doors before becoming the Chief of Medicine for the South Sector. He was appointed as Deputy Medical Director (Acute Services) in 2019.
