Elaine Cochrane

Originally a general nurse, Elaine moved into the health improvement field 22 years ago. Her career has focused on finding innovative ways of engaging people, using a community development approach to empower communities and individuals to improve health outcomes. Elaine is currently a Senior Health Promotion Officer with Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership. Her work involved devising the Natural Health Award to encourage people to engage with nature and learn practically about the ‘5 ways to wellbeing’. This evolved into initiating and overseeing the development of the green space at Stirling Health Care Village involving over 40 partners.
