Jane Rodman was appointed in July 2020 as the Head of Nursing in Elective services at the Golden Jubilee. Jane has been employed within the organisation for over 13 years, working mainly within the Heart and Lund Division, in various roles within Cardiac Rehabilitation, Interventional Cardiology and the National Services Division. Jane has worked within the NHS for over 39 years within Scotland and the rest of the UK. She feels this has been beneficial to viewing different aspects of care provision and facilitating a shared learning experience.

Jane feels the NHS as an organisation embraces patients, carers and staff needs to ensure an improved patient experience.

Jane has been a key member of the Schwartz group within the Hospital and feels this empowers staff to explore the emotional needs of caring.

Jane feels the Senior Nurses within the Organisation need to be visible and in touch with the Department teams to ensure the necessary level of accountability and reassurance.

Jane is proud to be part of an organisation where development, improvement and learning from adverse events are encouraged to improve the quality of care.
