Jill Gillies

Jill is the Associate Director of Quality for NHS Lothian, where she provides leadership to enable the application of a quality management system with a focus on patient safety and reducing avoidable harm. Prior to this she was Programme Director for Unscheduled Care in Lothian and led several collaborations between acute sites and health and social care partnerships, ensuring the values and principles of good teamworking and joint decision making were supported to optimise improvement opportunities. Before joining Lothian, Jill was a Portfolio Lead at Healthcare Improvement Scotland leading several national improvement programmes.
