Lauren Sloey comes into her role with the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) with great pride, bringing experience in addiction nursing, psychological trauma recovery and drug harm reduction. Working closely with people who problematically use substances has allowed Lauren to see how real recovery is when given access to the right support – this is an experience Lauren is keen to share.
