Lisa Bird is Deputy Director for Equalities, Human Rights and Third Sector within the Scottish Government. A civil servant for over 16 years, Lisa has worked in a wide range of policy areas. In December 2017, she was diagnosed with cancer and undertook treatment throughout 2018. This session provides an insight into her personal experience of the NHS.
