Louise Bennie

Louise Bennie has held a senior manager role within NHS 24, since 2011. Prior to this, Louise was seconded to Scottish Government, within the Health and Social Care directorate, managing the Alcohol Brief Intervention Programme.  

Louise is currently Head of Digital, leading up NHS 24’s development and delivery of digital products and services, which include NHS Inform (Scotland’s national health and care resource for the public), GP.scot and Scotland’s Service Directory.  

Prior to this, Louise was General Manager within NHS 24’s Health Information Services, heading up the team delivering multi-channel health information services. Louise has developed her career at NHS 24 previously holding roles in process development and partner integration, providing leadership to individuals and teams to develop themselves and the organisation.

Recently, Louise’s focus has been in leading the digital response within NHS 24 to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic – developing collaborative, innovative solutions to respond to the public need for up to date, assured information through a rapidly changing situation.
