Matthew has worked in the NHS for 15 years. He began his career as a Physiotherapist specialising in Medicine of the Elderly at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. He became very interested in how technology and data helps service redesign and refocused his career. For the past decade, Matthew has been working in TEC/digital health and care in H&SCP and national roles and completed an MSc in Global eHealth from the University of Edinburgh in 2018. His current role supports leadership, strategic, and operational development within Midlothian Health and Social Care Partnership.
