Nadine Hare
Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Head & Neck/Voice)
Nadine has always liked to chat and has always valued the importance of communication. This set her off on her path as a Speech and Language Therapist graduating from Queen Margaret University in 2004 with a BSc Hons (first) in Speech and Language Pathology and Therapy.
Initially her career started with a mixed adult, paediatric post and quickly moved to specialise with adults, initially with acquired neurological conditions and voice problems then moving into Head and Neck cancer. Nadine has now been based in NHS Lothian with the South East of Scotland Head and Neck Cancer Team for over 10 years supporting individuals before, during and after surgical and oncological treatment. Her job is wonderfully varied and she has really enjoyed her most recent ventures engaging patients in quality improvement for the service and looks forward to sharing these experiences with others.
