Professor Graham Ellis

Deputy Chief Medical Officer for Scotland, Scottish Government

Professor Graham Ellis is a Geriatrician in Central Scotland and a clinician with the Hospital at Home service. He was an undergraduate in Glasgow University and has trained and worked across the West of Scotland. He has a research interest in the organisation of acute services for older people and was appointed as Honorary Professor at Glasgow Caledonian Universities department of Health and Life Sciences in 2018.

Graham was appointed as Deputy Chief Medical Officer in September 2021 supporting and deputising for the Chief Medical Officer and working closely a number of doctors within the Civil Service.
