Professor Jann Gardner

Professor Jann Gardner joined NHS Lanarkshire as Chief Executive in December 2022 with over 30 years healthcare experience in clinical and management roles. Jann was previously Chief Executive of NHS Golden Jubilee where she was responsible for was responsible for the establishment of the Centre for Sustainable Delivery (CfSD) and the NHS Scotland Academy. Before that, Jann was Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer in NHS Fife and has worked across NHS GGC, NHS Forth Valley and in NHS England. She started her career in NHS Lanarkshire as a pharmacist before moving into a range of clinical, professional management, transformation and senior executive roles. She has a personal interest in innovation and digital solutions as a key element of modern healthcare evolution.
