Professor Tom Steele

Director of Estates and Facilities, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde

Tom Steele was appointed as Director of Estates and Facilities of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde on 1st October 2018.

Tom was previously Director of Facilities at NHS National Services Scotland for two years. Prior to that, Tom was Director of Estates and Facilities at NHS Forth Valley with responsibility for the delivery of Forth Valley Royal Hospital and Clackmannanshire Community Hospital.

Tom joined the NHS in February 1986 working in a number of acute and primary care organisations within NHS Ayrshire and Arran.

He was appointed as Honorary Professor at Glasgow Caledonian University where he is Chair of the Built Environment and Asset Management Research Unit.
