Steph Jones

Steph joined the Scottish Ambulance Service in 2006 within the Ambulance Control Centre as a Call Handler and Dispatcher before undertaking clinical roles from 2010.  

In 2016, Steph undertook a role transforming the SAS Clinical Response Model matching patient outcomes to information given in initial 999 call to ensure our sickest patients have the right response at the right time.  

Steph’s current role leads our Integrated Clinical Hub (ICH) which builds on our Clinical Response Model to identify patients who, using technology, may benefit first from a telephone or video consultation by clinician rather an immediate ambulance dispatch.
