Looking to the Future

In the closing session, delegates will hear about the major challenges facing the health and social care system in Scotland over the coming years.

Staff working across NHS Scotland are feeling the wave of demand that has been increasing as well as the significant rises in disease burden, people living longer but not in good health, and rising health inequalities.

Delegates attending the session will hear more about what these challenges will mean for the transformation blueprint for NHS Scotland and the wider health and social care system.

The session will include a panel discussion featuring key leaders across our healthcare system.

Panel members will be announced in due course.

Delegates will have the opportunity to put forward questions for the panel.
