Posters
This year’s poster exhibition will feature around 200 projects that are taking place across NHS Scotland and partner organisations to support our key priorities.
Submissions are welcome from NHS Scotland employees, our voluntary and partner organisations, and other public or private sector organisations on any aspect of work they are undertaking in, with or on behalf of NHS Scotland.
Please note that along with a new venue for 2025, we’re introducing a new format for the poster display:
- The top scoring 100 poster abstracts will be invited to display a poster at the event as well as in the online poster showcase. The top 30 of these will also be invited to give a short presentation of their work.
- A further 100 poster abstracts will be selected to display their poster in the online poster showcase.

Call for Poster Abstracts open

Poster Authors download and complete poster abstract form and once completed submit to Poster Co-ordinator/Employer Governance for comment
25/02/2025 – 18/03/2025
Poster Authors amend poster abstract based on the feedback provided by poster co-ordinators and submit final poster abstract via the online submission portal

Shortlisting of Submissions

Results of shortlisting by email.
The top 100 scoring poster abstract authors will be invited to display a poster at the Event and upload their final poster and supporting materials to our online poster showcase. 30 of the top scoring 100 posters will be invited to give a short presentation at the Event. In addition, a further 100 poster abstract authors will be invited to display their poster via the online poster showcase along with any relevant supporting materials.

How to Submit a Poster Abstract
Submissions are welcome from NHS Scotland employees, our voluntary and partner organisations, and other public or private sector organisations on any aspect of work they are undertaking in, with or on behalf of NHS Scotland.
Poster Categories
There are eight poster categories for 2025 - please ensure that your abstract is linked to at least one of these poster categories.
Poster Abstract Forms
Please download and complete your relevant Poster Abstract Submission form.
Poster Co-ordinators
For any Poster abstract which has been developed in partnership with NHS Scotland, please ensure that it is forwarded to the relevant Poster Co-ordinator for comment.
If your Abstract is selected
After the closing date, all poster abstracts will go through a shortlisting process to determine which will be selected for final poster design.
Online Submission for Final Abstracts
Once Poster Abstracts have been reviewed and agreed through the appropriate governance arrangements, please complete the online abstract form for final submission.
Designing your Poster
The 2025 poster exhibition will combine both our traditional A0 poster display with the addition of an online poster showcase.
At the Event
A dedicated Poster Presentation will take place in the morning and afternoon of the Event as part of the programmed activity.
