11:15 – 12:30
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is redesigning whole-system care to improve patient flow, reduce delays and ensure people receive the right care in the right place at the right time. This session explores how a clinically led Virtual Hospital model is expanding acute-level care at home through remote monitoring, multidisciplinary teams and improved coordination across services. With 448 virtual beds already supporting pathways including cardiology, respiratory, mental health and paediatrics, the session will share practical lessons on implementation, culture, workforce, digital and governance. Delegates will gain insight into creating more integrated, person-centred and sustainable models of care.
