ABPI Supported Session
Scotland is recognised for its research excellence, integrated healthcare system, world-class universities and strong life sciences sector. As international competition for investment, clinical trials and talent grows, stronger collaboration is essential.
This session brings together leaders from government, the NHS, academia and industry to discuss how Scotland can turn research strengths into better patient outcomes and economic growth. The panel will explore increasing commercial clinical research, making better use of health data and accelerating adoption of innovative medicines and technologies. It will also address workforce and service challenges, asking what Scotland must do now to remain globally competitive.
